Cook it Safe! Microwave or Oven?
Many Americans' freezers are stocked with fast, tasty convenience foods. While the shortest distance between the freezer and the table may be the microwave, not all convenience foods can be safely prepared in the microwave. Challenge yourself to Cook It Safe!

Some frozen products may appear to be fully cooked but actually contain raw, uncooked ingredients. Some convenience foods are shaped irregularly and vary in thickness, creating opportunities for uneven cooking in a microwave oven. It's important to follow all package instructions, including using the appliance recommended.

You can also find a brochure about convenience food preparation here.
